Prophetic Evangelism Training

2009 is a great year, full of great opportunities to work in the lives of others. We need to be prepared, ready to answer questions and able to discern the voice of God’s Spirit at work in the lives of others.

With a desire to see people equipped Sacred Space, Kingston is organising this training to help Christians make the most of every God orientated conversation they have.  The training will be led by David Holl who emigrated to Canada with his wife and two children from Twickenham in 2004.  The Holy Spirit met them in a powerful way and they have since experienced God move through them in ways that they never anticipated before.  They've enjoyed opportunities to share Christ's love with people in Ottawa and other parts of Canada in shopping centres and psychic fairs through the use of prophetic evangelism and interpretation of dreams.  Since 2006 David has been involved in teaching on these subjects in Canada, Brazil and the UK.

The training is full of practical exercises which will help you hear God's word and build confidence so that you can share what He is saying with others.  It will take place on the evening of Friday 3rd July (7.30-10pm), a long day on Saturday 4th (9am-10pm) and shorter day on Sunday 5th July (9am-4pm).  Refreshments and dinner on Saturday evening will be included, but please bring or buy your own lunches.  We appreciate this will be an intense time as it combines two previous courses into one, but we want to make the most of David's teaching gift and testimonies of God's grace while he is in the UK.

Oxygen 5 a side Football Tournament

You are invited to take part in the Oxygen 5 a side football tournament to helped raise money to support the work of Oxygen. Taking place on Saturday 18th July between 10.30am & 1pm at Goals in New Malden and coordinated by Baptists together in Surbiton, the tournament is a chance to have fun in the sun and raise some money to support Oxygen.

Vacancy: St Pauls Kingston Hill for a Full-time children’s/family worker

Saint Paul’s Kingston Hill is an evangelical charismatic Anglican church with a membership of 300+ and a growing work with 100+ 0-11 year olds as well as a church aided school next door.

We already have a full-time paid youth worker but now wish to strengthen our staff team by appointing a full-time children’s/family worker with vision and experience to:
• build relationships with children and their families;
• promote and develop parenting courses inside and outside the church;
• co-ordinate an outreach programme for under-11s;
• take over the co-ordination and leadership of our children’s work from the existing volunteer leaders

Salary £25,000 p.a.

VACANCY: Going Deeper at St Johns Kingston Vale

St Johns the Baptist, Kingston Vale in partnership with Oxygen (Kingston YFC) are looking to appoint a Youth worker to take on the coordination and development of the church’s outreach and discipling youthwork.The appointed person will be given the challenge of building on the mission links already being established between local young people and the church. The aim will be to encourage those young people in the community who have started to make connections with the church to take these further and involve their friends.

This post is offered at 10 hours per week during term time and so would suit someone seeking flexible working conditions. Deadline for applications is the 10th July. Part of the role includes attendance and involvement at St John’s on at least two Sundays per month. Ki Hyoung Kim: Prayer Request Update

I have another prayer request….yesterday ‘B’ who is in rm1 ask me to pray for his family about problems. I didn’t ask what it is. But his mother said he has got a lot of trouble with his siblings at home. She is worried about him learning many bad language and behaviour from his brother’s friends. She really wants to connect him to some good, positive young people.
